Go back to school with this Sims 4 expansion pack

The Sims 4: Discover University is an expansion pack for the popular simulation video game The Sims 4. Developed by EA, The Sims 4: Discover University features new content for the base game. This expansion pack allows you to send your Sims to college and live the university life you want. With two new locations and several other goodies related to college life, this is a great expansion pack to get if you have the base game already.

A simulated world

The Sims 4 or TS4 is a life simulation video game created and developed by Electronic Arts (EA) and is the fourth installment in the popular The Sims franchise. In this game, you get to control human characters called “Sims” in their day-to-day life. Compared to The Sims 3, The Sims 4 has an overhauled and intuitive Create-a-Sim menu, updated building tools, and deeper, more complex Sims AI system with the emotions mechanic and new traits available.

TS4  gears towards low-end specs and simplicity, so you won’t be needing a high-end machine to play it smoothly. Like the previous games, TS4 has tons of expansion packs that can enrich your Sim experience. And for this fourth title, Discover University brings you the fun and excitement of college life.

Get that diploma

The Sims 4: Discover University is the eighth expansion pack for The Sims 4 and is the spiritual successor to The Sims 2: University and The Sims 3: University Life. Similar to the two aforementioned expansion packs, Discover University features the college life content for TS4. This pack includes a new world called Britechester that contains two rival universities your Sims can attend: the historical University of Britechester and the modern Foxbury Institute

Your Sims can live in the dormitories or just off-campus—the game allowing you to not have to move into a new neighborhood for the first time in the series. There are also new careers you can earn, new features like roommates and scholarships, tons of new placeable objects and Sim outfits, and even the return of the Servo life state. Plus, there are lots of classes your Sims can attend and various other activities that they can partake in to have a good time.

School is fun

As an expansion pack for The Sims 4, The Sims 4: Discover University is definitely one that brings in more fun stuff for you to do in your game. As with all expansion packs, you’ll be needing the base game in order to play it. However, this is the first expansion pack to require a 64-bit system. Plus, there are some minor flaws in the game’s design that might annoy you if you were hoping for something else. The Sims 4: Discover University is still a good entry into the franchise, though, and is a recommended title to try for TS4.
